It’s a new moon this weekend. I haven’t been walking as much these past few days (I’ve been really busy), but the night sky has been particularly bright since the moon has been absent.

I’m thinking of trying something new with my personal/diary posts.
Specifically, I think it would be nice to do personal posts whenever it’s an interesting date on the lunar calendar (namely, every full moon). It will probably be something random, or whatever is on my mind at the time.
Today is October 1st, a full moon, and also the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival. Haru ordered Chinese takeout today and we had some mooncake. We have two guests staying at our house right now. The toilet in the guest bathroom is broken.

I’m not quite sure if it’s a good idea to to mix a translation blog together with a personal blog, but lately I’ve been MIA from almost every Internet community I’ve been part of (i.e. NUF, SHF, discord), so I’m effectively “homeless” in a sense!
Since there’s no other place for me to dump my random ramblings, they’ll have to go here!
In either case, this wasn’t supposed to be a translation blog to begin with. Last weekend, I dug up some nice novels, but didn’t have a place to post them, so I ended up dumping them here.
Speaking of translations, it’s almost been ten years.
